The Death Doula Ontario Network strives to increase public knowledge in death literacy, enhance end of life care skills and provide up to date end of life care resources and information.
In addition, the Death Doula Ontario Network is part of a global movement to better educate, advocate and empower everyone in their end of life journey.
What is Death Literacy?
Death Literacy is defined as having the experience, skills and knowledge that enable all of us to plan for and gain access to end of life care support and services. The Death Doula Ontario Network annual $ 50 membership includes monthly online Zoom network and educational meetings, network events, updates on end of life care resources and tools, as well as discounts on education and self care retreats.
Are you a death doula? Do you have some form of formal end of life care or death education? Do you live or practice in Ontario? You may be interested in becoming a member of this newly formed network?
Monthly online Zoom meetings will take place on the 1st Monday of every month in the evening from 7 to 9 pm EST and will be recorded for members to review if they are unable to attend. Dates and topics for 2020
